The key goal of the internal quality assurance system (IQAS) is the development, effective operation and continuous improvement of the whole range of the University’s activities, and particularly, of teaching, research, innovation, governance and relevant services, according to the international practices - especially those of the European Higher Education Area - and the principles and standards of the Hellenic Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency (HQA]. This includes the processes for accreditation of the University’s degree programmes as well as accreditation of the IQAS itself.
The IQAS documentation includes, among other things, a series of key documents demonstrating its structure and organisation, such as the Quality Manual, which describes how the Standards’ requirements are met.
