The University of Crete, like all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the country, are required to draw up a multi-year strategic plan focused on academic development, aligned with the national strategy programme for higher education, the national strategy for research and innovation, as well as the developments and the main objectives of the actions for higher education in the European and international area.
The strategic plan outlines the HEI’s strategy for its development at the local, national, European, and international levels, harmonized with its unique identity and mission across its various fields of activity.

Read the Strategic Planning 2024-2028 of the Institution, as approved at the 522nd/24.10.2024 regular meeting of the Senate.
